About me

Hi, I’m Elizabeth Bergeron, a certified Ayurvedic postpartum doula, yoga instructor, artist, and lifelong student of holistic healing. My approach is rooted in deep wisdom, gentle presence, and the belief that every mother deserves to be nurtured as she nurtures new life.

I live in Toronto Ontario, where I am also a mother to a radiant little soul named Allister. He’s four years old and truly the sunshine of my life. My path into motherhood shaped me in ways I never expected. I navigated the early years as a single mother, learning deep wells of strength, patience, and how to care for myself while caring for my child.

That chapter of my life continues to inform the care I offer today. I hold close the hardships and often unspoken parts of motherhood—because I’ve been there. And I know how powerful it is to be truly seen and supported.

My Story

I grew up in a home where healing was a way of life. My mother was a healer and a practitioner of craniosacral therapy, and from a young age she taught me how to work with energy and lean into my own intuition. My childhood was rich with holistic teachings, and I was always drawn to the unseen—how energy moves, how presence heals, and how deep listening can transform.

In 2007, I completed my Yoga Teacher Training and was introduced to Ayurveda. I instantly fell in love. Its emphasis on balance, nourishment, and the rhythms of nature felt like a remembering. As someone with a naturally high Vata constitution, these practices became essential for me—they brought me back into a grounded, centered state, again and again.

In 2018, I trained as a Kore Process practitioner with World Without Fear, where I learned how to receive and facilitate the transformation of karmic readings. I was fortunate to study under incredible teachers—Adikanda, Ananda Shakti, and Christel Janssen—each of whom helped shape how I would assist the deep unfolding and levels of grief that may arise with any client.

Then, in 2020, my son was born, and my life changed drastically.

His birth was highly traumatic. It was a very long and difficult labour and ended in an emergency cesarean, and my sweet boy spent the first few days of his life in the NICU. By the time we were home, I felt depleted, in shock, and struggling to feel connected, to myself, and to the experience of becoming a mother.

What saved me was the care of an Ayurvedic postpartum doula, gifted to me by a circle of dear friends. I will never forget the moment she arrived. The first thing she made me was cinnamon rice pudding, with ghee-roasted apricots on top. That warm bowl of food felt like pure medicine. It grounded me, nourished me, and brought me back to myself

She carried Allister on her while she worked around my home so I could rest and cry and process. She supported me through the overwhelm, and the grief. And she held space for me to begin my healing—not just physically, but emotionally as well. I don’t know what I would have done without her presence.

It was during her very first visit and receiving the benefits of her care, I knew that this was the work I was meant to do.

Since then, I have followed that calling with devotion. I pursued a deeper understanding of energy work, training in Usui Teate Reiki under Tracie Trimble, receiving both my first and second Degree certifications. I continued to study postpartum care rooted in Ayurvedic tradition with the Center for Sacred Window Studies, weaving together my lifelong experience with energy work, my training in intuitive healing, and the lived wisdom of birth and rebirth.

Now, I offer postpartum care that honors the mother as whole—body, mind, and spirit. My work is to hold, nourish, and gently guide her through this powerful threshold, whether it’s her first baby or her fourth. I believe postpartum is a sacred time of transformation, and every mother deserves to be cared for in the same loving, intentional way I was.

This is more than a vocation—it is my heart’s work. And I am honored to walk alongside mothers in this tender season of becoming
